The LHCb experiment is a particle detector that collects data from collisions at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider.
Subdetectors
RICH
The Ring-Imaging Cherenkov subdetector is composed of two parts: RICH1 and RICH2. The subdetector is used to identify which charged particles from B decays – pions or kaons – pass through LHCb.
