How I read RSS feeds:

• I use Zotero’s built-in feed aggregator for collecting the latest papers from journals I’m interested in.
• I’m trying to use Fraidycat for following fun things including blogs, Twitter accounts and edits to this Wiki.
• I use Akregator on Kubuntu to follow comics and tech blogs, where I might want to read every post.

Things to try

Over on Mastodon, Alex Schroeder suggested something called “River of News” that I might want to try. Alex’s implementation is called Planet Jupiter, but Dave Winer’s river5 might be worth looking into.
